Bauer Il Palazzo Hotel - Venice

I stayed for two nights and enjoyed the outdoor pool with a view. The location was convenient, with access to local attractions. I appreciated the hotel offering a private water dock for transportation.

The check-in process was confusing, and I felt ignored by the staff. My room did not match the online photos, leading to disappointment.

The venue is placed in a very central position close to all the best shops.

Great location great breakfast

No welcome drink like water or juice or fruit in the room. Breakfast: nothing fishy. Cheese: 2x cow and 3x goat cheeses which I do not like, no Camembert or similar. no pure oat flakes for muesli. Scrambled eggs almost liquid

The location is excellent

The equipment and the cost of approx. 800.-- per night do not fit to the room in any way. And 2 more single beds put together, that's not possible. Staff totally overwhelmed....., terrace to the room was a dream, but in this price category everything must be right.

The staff were very helpful with any request and the location was perfect the room was clean and adequate in size

The lack of tea making facilities in the room but this seems normal in most hotels nowadays the cost and quality of the breakfast although it was included in our room rate it would have cost 50 euros ! it was a buffet breakfast with runny scrambled eggs and bought in croissants you would think a hotel of this quality would bake their own pastries have a choice of eggs and provide toast which was not available at all.

The superior suite is recently renovated and exquisite.

The bathrooms are very small.

Good bed, short walk to Teatro La Fenice

Nocturnal noise pollution from permanent motor boat arrivals, hotel bar closed on Saturday at 11.30 pm, never book room 245 as elevators clearly audible

We loved the private dock for easy access and the gorgeous rooftop terrace with fine canal views. Our room was spacious and beautifully clean, definitely a highlight!

The suite is not large as we expected. Too expensive Variety of buffet breakfast is too little

The hotel is very luxury on perfect location to feel the beauty of Venice. I suggest to anyone who can afford this price to stay there.

unstoppable access to fine landmarks and delicious dining

I loved how close we were to Piazza San Marco, just 300 meters away, making it an easy walk to take in the amazing architecture and vibrant atmosphere, plus, we had a fantastic time dining at Harry's Bar, only a short stroll from our hotel, enhancing our city exploration experience.

The decor of the public rooms and the general ambience is lavishly old venetian and spectacular. The dining room and canal side terrace were excellent for breakfast. The buffet breakfast is very good. Unfortunately, during my stay in Venice, my purse was stolen but the hotel staff were extremely helpful and they escorted me to the police station to file a report.

The rooms were quite dark as they faced a nearby building opposite but this could add to the authenticity for some travellers.

Friendly , staff , good size room , great restaurant setting on grand canal and top location near sights , shopping and good restaurants
